PRIVACY STATEMENT

This privacy policy explains how Golightly.no collects and processes your personal data.

Sales and Marketing Manager at Golightly.no is responsible for processing personal data and complaints. The data controller has the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all processing and handling of personal data takes place in accordance with the applicable legislation. Day-to-day responsibilities may be delegated, in which case this will appear under each item in this statement. The delegation only covers the tasks and not the responsibility

Golightly.no has its own data protection officer. The duties of the data protection representative are to provide employees with information and advice on data protection legislation, monitor compliance with the data protection regulation and internal guidelines. As well as giving advice on privacy consequences and being the point of contact for the data subjects and the supervisory authority.

The declaration contains information about your rights when storing personal data through a customer relationship with Golightly.no, and general information about how we process personal data in accordance with current data protection legislation.

Golightly does not share personal information with others, or use the information for purposes other than those stated in this privacy policy

 

1 PERSONAL INFORMATION

To make a purchase on Golightly.no we need name, address, mobile number and e-mail.

This is necessary to be able to send your order to the correct delivery address, keep you up to date with order movements and contact you should there be a need according to your orders.

We are required to store order information in connection with accounting, tax handling and any warranty/return handling. This history is deleted after ten years. We also store the IP address used when ordering for security reasons.

For different purposes, we may need other personal data. Which personal data and the purpose of this is described here in the privacy policy.

 

11 YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access your personal data as Golightly.no has registered in accordance with current legislation. You can at any time request to receive this information free of charge in accordance with the legislation.

Information must be handed out/transmitted in a secure manner. If the data subject submits the request electronically, and unless the data subject requests otherwise, the information must be provided in a normal electronic form.

You can also, at any time, ask us to delete or correct your personal data, provided that we are not obliged to keep them in accordance with applicable legislation or other obligations we have.

You have the right to be provided with your own personal data that you have provided to Golightly.no - data portability. If it is technically possible, we can send this information directly to the new business. If not, we will send the information to you via e-mail.

All personal data we send to you in these contexts will be sent in encrypted file format.

You can withdraw the consent you have given us at any time. You can find the consents on my page.

You have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you feel that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with this declaration.

 

12 ARCHIVING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Accounting Act requires us to store transaction data for 5 years. To be able to safeguard customers' rights in connection with guarantees and complaints in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act, the Purchase Act and Golightly.no's sales conditions, we store purchase history for 10 years.

 

13 SECURING PERSONAL INFORMATION

Golightly.no has good routines and comprehensive measures to ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to your personal data, and that the processing of data takes place in accordance with the requirements of current legislation. Examples of such measures are risk assessments, implementation of organizational and physical measures, access management and archiving routines, as well as routines for handling data and following up on requests regarding the right to access, correction and deletion.

You can rest assured that Golightly.no stores your personal data in a secure manner.

 

2 DELIVERY OF GOODS

We ship daily with Posten. The delivery time is calculated from when you place your order.Standard 2-4 working days* (Monday-Friday). The tracking number will be sent to your provided email as soon as the package is on its way.

Remember to mark your mailbox clearly so the package arrives. In the case of unmarked or poorly marked mailboxes, the package will be returned to the sender.

The package is delivered in a letterbox. If the package is large or there is no cover for home delivery, the package will be sent to the delivery location.
Obs. The address given must be your own residential address. If the package is to be sent to another address, this must be notified, so that the package is sent to the delivery location.

Packages that are not picked up by customers at the collection point will be invoiced for any shipping costs.

 

3 PAYMENT SOLUTIONS

At Golightly, you can choose between 5 safe payment methods.

- Card payment - if you use a credit card or debit card for payment, the purchase amount is deducted from the card on the same day that the order is made.

- Klarna Invoice with a 14-day payment deadline. If you choose to pay by invoice, you will receive an invoice by mail when the package is sent from us. The invoice is due within 14 days.

- Klarna Partial payment or account, this is a separate choice in the checkout. The invoice is sent to the same email address entered with the order.

- Whoops.

- PayPal 

 

For security reasons, we keep history containing the IP address we receive orders from.Payment details at Golightly.no is: IP address, name, address, e-mail and mobile phone number.

All systems that process personal data related to the payment of orders are strictly limited to employees who perform necessary tasks related to the order.

3.1

The prices indicated on the website apply to orders placed on the website. All prices are stated in NOK and include VAT. The prices do not include payment and shipping fees, which are given separately.

You can pay for the purchase in the manner indicated on the Website.Golightly has the right to debit you already in connection with the order if you have not chosen invoicing or a similar payment method, and this is accepted by Golightly. For invoicing or partial payment, Golightly or its partners must be able to obtain credit information from third parties. In that case, you will be informed accordingly. Golightly reserves the right at all times not to offer all payment methods, or to change the payment method if, for some reason, the payment method you have chosen does not work at the time of fulfilling the order.

The seller can demand payment for the item from the time it is sent from the seller to the buyer.

If the buyer uses a credit or debit card for payment, the seller can reserve the purchase price on the card when ordering. The card is charged on the same day the item is sent.

When paying by invoice, the invoice is issued to the buyer when the goods are dispatched. The payment deadline appears on the invoice and is a minimum of 14 days from receipt.

Buyers under the age of 18 cannot pay with a subsequent invoice.

The payment methods we offer as of today are: Klarna, Paypal, Vipps and card payment.

 

4 INFORMATION CAPSULES (COOKIES) AND PIXELS

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you download a website. These are usually used to improve your user experience and remember who you are so you stay logged in.

The purpose of cookies is to provide the online store with basic functionality such as session management, analysis, personalization and marketing.

First-party cookies are necessary for the website to function.

It is not possible to opt out of these cookies, and our processing basis for this is of legitimate interest. (GDPR art. 6f).

Third-party cookies are used for analysis, marketing and personalization of the website.

Pixel is a small code on our website that makes it possible to register conversions via online advertisements. It gives us the opportunity to adapt external advertising to customer groups based on their interests internally on our website. We always ask for your consent for the use of pixels.

 

5.1 HOW YOU CAN AVOID INFORMATION CAPSULES (COOKIES)

If you wish to avoid the use of cookies, you can set your browser not to accept them. See your browser's help pages for settings. Please note that if you choose to exclude cookies, several of the functions on Golightly will.no stop working.

 

5.2 ANALYSIS

Golightly.no collects anonymous information about visitors to Golightly.no to analysis.

By anonymised information we mean information that cannot be traced back to a user or a person. The purpose of this is to collect statistics that can be used to further develop and improve the website. Examples of this type of data are: number of visitors to the site, how the site is used, how long the visit lasts, where the users come from and which browsers are used.

We also collect keywords used via the search engine on the website. This is only to improve search results and the customer experience, and no information is collected that can be traced back to the user.

Data that we use for analysis takes place with justified interest as a basis for processing. (GDPR art. 6f).

 

5.3 PERSONALIZATION

In order to give you a relevant and good experience in our online store, we use functions and systems to personalize the content so that it is adapted to you and your interests.

We only personalize content on our website if you have consented.

 

 5.4 PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

Golightly.no will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data other than as described in the privacy policy. Your data will only be shared if we are legally obliged, or if we get your consent. Collaborative partners will only have access to the information if this is necessary to perform services for Golightly.no In such cases, data processing agreements are entered into to safeguard information security. In addition, Golightly will.no decide how the processing of the information shall take place. More information about the third parties we use can be found in the link under point 5.

 

 6 CHANGES TO THE STATEMENT

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review the statement regularly. If major changes are made that significantly change our privacy practices, we can also notify you in other ways, such ase.g via e-mail, or on the company's website or social media.

 

7. Complaint

The right of complaint covers goods that are faulty in accordance with the current consumer law. Complaints are only valid if there is a manufacturing fault, not a consumer fault.You must contact us as soon as possible after you have discovered the error. If there is a defect in the goods, the buyer must, within a reasonable time after it was discovered or should have been discovered, notify the seller that he or she wants to claim the defect.

If the item has a defect and this is not due to the buyer or conditions on the buyer's side, the buyer may, in accordance with the rules of the Consumer Purchase Act, Chapter 6, depending on the circumstances retain the purchase price, choose between rectification and redelivery, demand price reduction, demand the contract terminated and/or demand compensation  from the seller.

Complaints to the seller must be made in writing.

 

8. Conflict resolution

Complaints must be addressed to the seller within 30 days from the order date, cf. points 9 and 10. The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer can contact the Consumer Council for mediation. The Consumer Council is available  on  phone 23  400  500  or www.forbrukerradet.no.
